1. Minnow. Went with Minnow since it's way more common than Salmon and that one would fit in as well.
2. Lippia. Even tho you give a 5 letters word in the crossword puzzle, there isn't any other flower name that the 3rd letter would fit with the first letter of answer #6. So I thought out of Peach Bloom,Thistle, Plumbago, Grinderlia, Jamul, Ganoderma, Lippia and Sundew the only one closest to 5 letters and that would fit in the best.
