  • CHRISTMAS 2017 TEC Points Sales 50% + Support Reward

    Dear Players,



    from December 23th for 72 hours, every purchase of Tec Points will grant an additional 50% bonus. Please be aware that on the external sites the displayed tec points won't have displayed the 50% bonus, but you still receive the bonus once the points are credited in your account.


    Also, to reward our most loyal customers and supporter, the player who, during these 72 hours, purchase more tec points, will receive a Rare Add Scroll and a Rare Change Scroll and a Full Upgraded DSS.

    For every customer who will purchase at least 1 Milion tec points, a Rare Change Scroll will be credited on the account.


    • For privacy purposes and to avoid any kind of heavy gambling issues, we will not disclose any informations regarding the winner or the highest amount purchased, not during the promotion, not after.
    • The DSS will be random and not adjusted based on the character of the account of the winner.
    • The rewards will be delivered within 48 hours after the end of the event. We will look for the players so please try to not fill our mailbox or tickets with requests.

    It all depends by the specs, as i explained, old computers/laptops works better for metin2 because it was developed on 2006 when the tecnology was not the same as it is today, it is the paradox of the retro games. The same is also for the OS and for the drivers. On XP Metin2 works fine, on 8 it doesn't, lucky on 10 seems to work fine 90% of the times.


    If you have different drivers you get the error cannot_create_approriate_device and there is nothing much to do other than changing drivers or even the video card.


    What you can try is to lower the traffic to 1 client and see if it is stable. If is not, try to click on send report, maybe the freeze is due something else different than what i think it is and clearly the report could give us a clue, reason why we implemented it.

    You should try playing with just 1 client at the time if your specs are too low to handle Metin2 with a modern computer. Obviously more clients, more resources needed. I doubt you will experience freeze or crashes with 1 client only.

  • Host Downtime

    Dear Players,


    this morning OVH, the web hosting company where this server is hosted, had an unspecified issue, apparently an electrical problem, that paralized the entire Europe for almost a coulple of hours



    We apologies for the lack of informations but we were unable to log properly on the forum due to this downtime.


    As compensation for this downtime the period of the event will be extended for 2 more days. The event will starts once we have the confirmation that the problem is completly solved.

  • [Maintenance] 24/07/2017 Costume Update

    Dear Players,


    with today's maintenance the General Store will sell two new items, Reset Costume Bonus and Change Costume Bonus.


    The Reset Costume Bonus may raise the number of the bonus up to a max of 3 bonus on the Costume or Hairstyle. There is only 10% chance that 3 bonus appears on a Costume/Hair while using this particular item.


    The Change Costume Bonus simply rolls the bonus of a Costume/Hair


    Not all Costume/Hairs can be rolled/reseted but those who can will have 8% vs monster and 500 Max HP as default bonus. The prize in the Item Mall is adjusted accordingly.


    We also added 2 new costumes, with 2 different colours.


    We received several feedbacks given to us after many players rolled by mistake items we have decided to upgrade the normal Change Scroll into this one:



    It will show you a preview of the next set of bonus and allow you to choose whether keeping the old bonus or change to new ones. Clicking OK or logging out during this window selection will keep the old bonus, the Change scroll will disappear anyway.


    This new method may be slower to roll items, but on the long run it will be safer and will provide a better experience and less stressful situations.

    Yes obviously it is possible to drop it, if he is complain of how rare it is, he doesn't understand the meaning of "rarity".


    The upgrade materials can also be dropped on the temple map, a map that will be released shortly after we do other stuffs that have priority.


    He should use this time to collect resources and upgrade materials for whats coming next :)

    There is one problem which you have to solve and SG would be again a great Server with a huge com and sick income.

    You can always come back to play and make the server rich rather than just be active on the forums :)

    If we do not pay money to google ads do you think you would find Metin2 SG on google at all?
