The rewards are always random herb, there is a hidden counter when you successfully deliver the herbs, the more "levels" you do, the better the reward and the chance to persuade the npc to give you more.
Did someone tell you abou any bugs with this quest? I have to kill golems or yeti, i dont know, i took the quest when i was lvl 35 over 1 year ago and i never received the heart or what it asks for from the mobs
Since it was a quest made by the old team is very likely to be full of bugs. I will look into it once we finish the updates that we are going to release soon.
